Of course my laptop problems don't affect EE2eu / Multiplayer Server. It will be still maintenanced and running. I just think it's fair to inform everyone what we're standing on.

The graphics card in my laptop stopped working (hardware issue) and it's not longer under warranty. I won't be able to afford a new laptop for long months (or maybe years). It happened right after I started work on the Language Changer :( I'm unable to continue work on UP1.5.

The server restart scheduled on 03.09.2018 was completed today at 10:20 CEST. It was issued by the provider to apply patches for Intel's "Foreshadow" CPU vulnerability. We're sorry for the inconvenience. The Multiplayer Lobby uptime was ~2 months with no crashes :)

Scheduled EE2eu Server restart is planned on 03.09.2018 10:00 - 12:00 CEST. It's issued by the provider to apply patches for Intel's "Foreshadow" CPU vulnerability.

I'm currently testing 156031. It includes a new anti-Scout Glitch solution which removes the "punishment" and replaces Scouts with "Temp Anti-Glitch Scouts" which can fly over buildings when needed. The only problem was game saves compatibility, so I had to keep old effect names.

Server upgrade completed. There were some problems with SSL certificates around 01:30 CET, but everything is fixed now and works as intended. Since the Server address changed, it might be needed to clear DNS cache (in case you can't access EE2eu). CMD -> "ipconfig /flushdns".

We're updating Ubuntu Server version (from 16.04 to 18.04). The EE2eu IP address will change. It should be painless and unnoticeable for users.

No Minor Update is scheduled on July. I will be improving the Server-related things instead. I won't post "what", because I'm scared of those "I know everything better" (usually Linux) players who come, give "tips", and criticize my decisions :(

Multiplayer Lobby restarts Today and Yesterday were caused by modules update.
I fixed an issue where percentage character (%) couldn't be sent in messages. Also, new accounts registration should be less problematic (prompt to change a nickname when contains illegal characters).

EE2eu was sending incorrect mails after users changed their email/password for their Multiplayer Account. It contained an information that "Your updated password has been cached and is securely stored in our database". It meant to be "hashed", not "cached".

For comparing (total installations): ver. 156027 - 3728, ver. 156026 - 3438, ver. 156025 - 3848, ver. 156024 - 3855.

The Multiplayer Lobby logging-in issues Today (01.06.2018) between 06:16 to 06:40 CET were caused by MariaDB 10.3 upgrade problems. Seems like I had to run "mysql_upgrade" command after update, but noticed it too late :(

The Server was restarted today (12.05.2018 at 09:26 CET) for system updates. The Multiplayer Lobby uptime was: 1 month 24 days 2h 35min. It seems to be pretty stable now :) In October 2015 when the Server was created it used to crash every few hours.

Good news: The Windows 10 17133 fixes for Empire Earth 2 have been fully integrated with the new version of UP1.5 Launcher. The Minor Update 156026 should be released early in March (before the official Win10 17133 release).

I found a solution for Windows 10 17133 maximization problems on EE2. At the moment I'm working to integrate new fixes with the UP1.5 Launcher. The next Minor Update should be released before Windows 10 17133, so you don't need to worry about this problem anymore.

Early Warning System: Please do not update to Windows 10 1803 (build 17133) if you use an @nvidia graphics card. There is a serious problem with running EE2 in the full screen mode (unable to maximize). It doesn't affect the integrated GPU. Please wait for further information.

We have detected that the MSI Nahimic Audio software might cause EE2 to crash on start. An appropriate warning has been added to the News window in UP1.5 Launcher and will be displayed to users when process NahimicMSIAudioFX.exe is running on their system.
